Ir Al Sol is made-to-order swimwear. You choose the fabric and the shape, send your measurements, and the piece is sewn for you in Florida. It is not pulled from a rack, and it is not made again.
One fabric, one shape, once
A yard of fabric makes three swimsuits, and we never cut the same fabric in the same shape twice. The piece you receive is the only one of its kind. If a fabric is still available we can cut it in a different shape, and a shape you like can be cut in a different fabric, but that exact combination is yours alone.
How it works
- Choose your fabric. Browse the current fabric swatches. Each season brings a new selection, and when a fabric is gone it does not come back.
- Choose your shape. The shapes we cut are listed below. If you want something outside them, tell us and we will talk it through.
- Send your measurements. Six measurements, about ten minutes, and it helps to have someone assist. Our ten-minute measuring guide walks through each one and the mistakes that throw the fit off.
- We confirm, then you order. We reply within 24 to 36 hours with any questions and a link to your own product listing. You place the order from there.
- We sew it. Four to six weeks from order to your door, with a tracking number once it ships.
The shapes we cut
One piece: asymmetrical, classic.
Two piece, tops: asymmetrical, halter, tankini, triangle.
Two piece, bottoms: high-waisted full back coverage, hipster, side tie, skirted.
Price and timing
- $295 for a custom piece, one-piece or two-piece.
- Four to six weeks from your order to delivery.
- 24 to 36 hours for us to reply to your request.
- Final sale. Custom pieces cannot be returned or exchanged.
Because a custom piece is cut for one body, it cannot be returned or exchanged. We would far rather get it right the first time, so ask us anything before you order. If you are unsure about a measurement, send it and we will check it with you.
Why made to order
A long torso, a broad shoulder, a bust that off-the-rack sizing has never accounted for: these are measurements, not preferences, and no size run fixes them. Cutting to your measurements does. It is also why our ready-to-wear pieces exist in one size only. They are the remaining suits from fabric already cut for someone else.
Your measurements stay yours
Your measurements are used to cut your swimsuit and for nothing else. They are not shared with anyone.
